Hi Guys! So here's the latest; Read all about it... Courtesy of some hard work and careful planning, 40 Gun Flagship now has a VAN to use for upcoming Rockin' Tours! We had our Maiden Voyage out to Canmore for a wicked show and I think I'm in love. She's heavy, but she's clean and she'll get from point A to B. Our recent string of shows started with a killer set at the Liberty Lounge on Feb. 11th. Thanks to all for coming out for the party! We saw lots of faces we haven't seen in a while. The day after was the Canmore Hotel where we breathed fresh mountain air, smoke and HISTORY IN THE MAKING. A good combination all 'round and great company. A special thanks to THE SHAPES for taking the stage with us and crackin' a few brews in the process. Now for this week: WE'RE RECORDING!!! Get ready for some new songs coming your way! We'll be laying some beats and crunching some chords at Echo Base Studio Friday and Saturday, but don't forget to come hang at the show on THURSDAY FEB 18TH at the Rusty Cage South (Heritage- old Studio 82). OMG! its real! its real! check it RIGHT HERE. Not only are we in the artist section, but we got the invitation to showcase today! hooray! so Eastern friends.. THURSDAY MARCH 11th @ 9pm, the Guns will take the Toronto stage for the very first time. We're SUPER excited. This Thursday we pick up our new wheels.. pictures undoubtedly to follow. We also have a show at the Liberty Lounge here in Calgary. Its an exciting double show week, as we play the next night Feb 12 in Canmore! With our friends the Shapes! ummm so much excitement. its hard to get it all down. we'll be going back in to Echo Base to record with my beloved Casey Lewis.. the only guy who seems to get our sound.. we're totally going to blow his doors off!! its going to be awesome. so. ya. come to some shows! we're going to have new merch out soon! feb 11 - liberty lounge - calgary feb 12 - canmore hotel - canmore feb 18 - rusty cage @ 82 - calgary mar 3 - marquee room - calgary that should tide you over for now. xxxxxxx bobbie
Getting Geared Up!

With only 11 days until our next calgary date, 40 Guns are putting together some pretty rad new songs for your listening pleasure! Working titles for the two new tracks are "Forever" and "Otherside". Along with new songs, we are excited to announce that our travel plans are quickly becoming clear for our outing to Toronto for Canadian Music Week. The only really important piece of that puzzle that is missing right now is the date and location of our showcase. In classic 40 Gun Flagship form, we are all left anxiously awaiting this vitally important info! Bobbie is busy working away at booking shows on our way out to Toronto, and I can honestly say i don't envy her for having to do that - what a grueling task! but she continues to plug away at it! We picked up a second Calgary for February: Feb 18, Rusty Cage South with Stampede Queen, a band we shared a stage with at the Bourbon in Vancouver. Should be a good time indeed, especially because it's a thursday night! That is all i have to report at the moment, however I can't help but mention that we have a major concert announcement coming in mid-February so get STOKED! Love Andy

Hey People! It's Jimmi again. Skinny and disorderly. Let's let all you guys and gals out there know what 40 GUNS is up to... Amongst all of the biznass and writing awesome new songs we've found the time to book another EPIC show at a venue we haven't played before. Namely: THE LIBERTY LOUNGE. This one's the bar at Mount Royal so I expect to see lots of scholarly chicks and dudes getting their drink on. Come out on FEB 11TH for the next great night of your lives! I think we'll make it an Anti-Valentines Day show due to it's proximity to said "Holiday" and the fact that "Valentines Day" is bullcrap. It sucks. BUT 40 GUNS ROCKS! We're in the process of finalizing 2 NEW SONGS for all you attractive youngsters to bang heads and knock boots to. So hold your breath. They're almost out of the oven... One likely sooner than the other. But that's how we bake. Rock doesn't rise at equal temperatures. But I assure you: They're all BLAZING HOT. COME AND GET IT! Much Love, Jimmi

well kiddies.. super-duper exciting news in the Guns camp. WE HAVE CONFIRMED CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK! omg! oh yes Toronto.. we'll be in attendance.. to rock your socks off. we're OH SO EXCITED. its going to be amazing. we're currently working on booking a little tour on the way out to fair TO.
